Raising my children on a farm in Northern Utah, we are surrounded by learning opportunities. I take great pride seeing my kids learn from our crops and cows. From engineering to animal husbandry, there is a wealth of knowledge that can be drawn from agriculture. My goal in designing this program, was to share our farm in a way that allowed other people to connect to farm based learning. After receiving my Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Sciences, I began working for our local Agricultural Extension office. Through that work I found great joy in 4-H youth programming and graphic design. I have always been passionate about education and agriculture. In many ways, the culmination of these education resources is a dream come true. I hope that Cultivate Curriculum serves you in a deep and meaningful way. Agriculture is something we all share in common, and so many life lessons are ripe for the picking.
